"Working with Tomi started during this season. We started with the basics of breathing and how to relax the whole body with the help of breathing. We went through breathing techniques to help you fall asleep faster, especially after games. These really worked well and falling asleep after the games became easier and the quality of sleep also improved considerably. I was able to catch up on sleep about an hour earlier than before. We also started to develop e.g. carbon dioxide tolerance with simple short exercises and paying attention to my breathing in everyday life. My endurance improved quickly and I noticed a difference on the ice. The legs no longer went "acidic" as quickly as before and I was able to play long short handed shifts with fresh legs. We also went through different exercises to strengthen the breathing muscles and how to breathe effectively in different situations while playing and training. We also did exercises, with which you could reset the whole body and get into an incredibly relaxed state, and this feeling of presence continued long into the next day.
